Startup Hustle: The Journey

Our journey at Salvacion Technologia is a testament to an unquenchable thirst for innovation in the food industry. Our founders, seasoned veterans in the commercial and technological equipment sector for food products, were always keen on exploring the latest advancements. Robert Racig, a fellow employee from a German company, inspired the idea of a revolutionary sublimation machine - an apparatus which he believed could be a game-changer in the food industry.

At that time, we discovered that no such groundbreaking technology existed yet. However, this prompted us to understand that the breakthrough in food sublimation would lie in microwave (MW) heating of the product in a vacuum. After consulting with industry specialists, we realized that the biggest challenge was to introduce high-power microwave radiation into a vacuum chamber without causing electrical conduction effects, known as electric breakdown.

We were fortunate to assemble a team of scientists and engineers who found both theoretical and practical solutions to this problem. Relying on the research of Professor Pushner from Germany, as well as the innovative solutions previously developed by our engineers, we created a prototype of a medium MW sublimation machine.

This machine was put to the test with different raw materials, and we began developing specific product manufacturing technologies for our clients. Notably, we developed a technique for producing meat jerky, removing up to 65% of the initial weight of the product in water over 40-50 minutes, while retaining an excellent appearance and taste. We also devised methods for producing dry yogurt-based snacks, pumpkin snacks powdered with dry honey, and snacks from lightly salted vegetables.

Recognizing the potential, we decided to launch our startup in Spain to tap into the European market. As we navigate this exciting journey, we at Salvacion Technologia are committed to pushing the boundaries of food processing technology.

The State of the Startup

As we check-in from Salvacion Technologia's headquarters, we're on the edge of a new chapter in our story. Our founders are eagerly waiting to receive their Spanish residence permits to legally establish our innovative startup in Spain. Our endeavor? Creating a game-changing microwave sublimation machine for food products.

Our most tangible achievement to date is the completion of a Medium-Sized MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of our microwave sublimation dryer, capable of handling 40kg of product. But we're not stopping there; we've already designed and outlined the main components for a large microwave sublimation dryer that can take on a 400kg raw product load.

Key developments include microwave magnetrons, a module for inserting microwave radiation into a vacuum chamber and evenly distributing it within, advanced vacuum pump solutions, and cooling technology. We've also designed a desublimator to optimally handle the sublimation process.

We stand at a high level of readiness for overall design and production of the MVP of our large sublimation dryer. As we await the green light to officially commence operations in Spain, we remain committed to disrupting the food industry with our cutting-edge technology.

Next Level Moves

Our initial step at Salvacion Technologia is to secure a residence permit in Spain and register our corporate entity. We are then planning to attract investments totaling 4.5 million euro, with a portion of these funds already promised by interested investors.

Upon the establishment of our company and the creation of an investor pool, we will embark on the development of blueprints for the MVP of our large microwave sublimation machine. This stage is expected to take around six months. Following this, we will begin the manufacturing and tuning process of the MVP, which we anticipate will take an additional six months.

After fine-tuning the MVP of our large machine, we will engage an engineering firm to reverse engineer the machine and generate blueprints for the pre-production model. Simultaneously, we will be selecting suppliers for our components and identifying a manufacturing base to rely upon.

As soon as our pre-production blueprints for the medium and large machines are ready, we will initiate our marketing efforts to attract clients. The formation of our company team will take place concurrently. We plan to open a demonstration food production facility where we will showcase the functionality of our equipment and refine the drying technology for various products using our MVP machines.

The certification process for our equipment will begin next, and following that, we will open an assembly area fully equipped with hardware and staff. At this point, we will start offering our equipment and consulting services to clients. Once we have secured European certification, we will be ready to launch the sales of our equipment in Europe. The future looks bright and promising for Salvacion Technologia.

Game-Changing Visions: The Long Run

At Salvacion Technologia, we're not just on a mission to innovate within the field of microwave-assisted sublimation; we're also setting out to redefine the business model that guides our industry. Drawing inspiration from the 'Tetra Pak' model and the principle of a competence center, our vision extends beyond the manufacture of sublimation drying equipment. We are committed to creating a comprehensive, efficient ecosystem that includes every facet of the process, from production to delivery.

This expansive view of our business informs our strategic approach. Rather than simply supplying our clients with high-quality equipment, we aim to go the extra mile by offering comprehensive contracts. These contracts will include equipment financing options, warranty services, and supply agreements for both raw materials and finished products. Our belief is that this all-inclusive model will facilitate our interaction with customers and provide the groundwork for sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships.

Our ambition doesn't stop there. Our team is tirelessly working to attract clients and cultivate a network of producers. This proactive strategy is the first step towards our long-term vision of creating a large manufacturing conglomerate. We envisage this conglomerate as being capable of providing global solutions in the industrial use of sublimates, servicing vast retail networks, and fostering collaborations with logistics and trading firms.

We recognize that a modern enterprise is a management hub that acquires market competencies as and when they're needed, based on project work principles. This understanding is fundamental to the way we're organizing our business.

Wrapping Things Up

In addition to the completion of our MVP for a medium-capacity sublimation drying machine and the groundwork for a large-scale, 400 kg capacity model, our immediate plans include establishing our legal entity in Spain and securing a 4.5 million euro investment. Following this, we will progress towards engineering, building, and fine-tuning our large-scale MVP, creating a demonstration food production facility to optimize drying technologies for different products, and launching the certification process for our equipment.

On the horizon, we see our certified machines being introduced to the wider European market, the establishment of our assembly site fully equipped with machines and personnel, and the offering of equipment and consulting services to clients.

As we wrap things up, we feel a sense of excitement about the road ahead. In an era marked by rapid technological advancement and evolving business methodologies, Salvacion Technologia is prepared to bring a fresh, ambitious perspective. We remain steadfast in our determination to implement these ambitious plans and continue pushing forward, offering our clients the most advanced and efficient solutions in the sublimation drying of food products market.
